This is the Montpilier Mansion, belonged to the Snowden family. The owner of a lead mine, family made bullets for the wars. The only famous people from this family were Anthony Snowden, and Kathryn Hepburn followed her family tree and found she was part of this family tree. She visited the Mansion during her research. George Washington was a frequent visitor here, as did Abigail Adams lived here while the White House was being completed. This mansion is located in Laurel Md. We like to find onordinary places that most people have never heard of. We never knew this place existed.
